Secretary of Budget and Management, David Brinkley to Speak at July General Membership Luncheon–SIGN UP NOW!

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly General Membership Luncheon July 20, 2017 at noon. The luncheon is an opportunity to learn about upcoming events, network with other Chamber members, and stay informed about the work the SACC is doing for local area business.

Maryland Secretary of Budget and Management, David Brinkley will be the luncheon’s featured speaker.

Brinkley was nominated Secretary January 15, 2015 and was confirmed by the Maryland Senate February 13 of that year. The Secretary has executive jurisdiction over the Department of Budget and Management and acts as head financial counselor to Governor Hogan. He has served as the Maryland House of Delegates Deputy Minor Whip, and on the Maryland State Senate for three terms, becoming the Minor Whip and Minor Leader throughout his tenure. Currently Brinkley sits on the Board of Advisors to the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center. The Secretary still holds securities registrations with FINRA, and valid insurance licenses focused on estate and retirement planning in a dozen states.

The Secretary is due to give an invaluable address during the luncheon. Events like this one are excellent for generation of high quality referrals and leads to potential clients. Business people who take part in SACC mixers are highly motivated, knowledgeable experts in their fields. The potential for joint ventures, partnerships, and connections with influential figures is increased exponentially with attendance.
