During the month of May, Women Supporting Women invites the public to stop by the Centre at Salisbury mall and take a look at the amazing creations local businesses and individuals have created for WSW’s Bras for a Cause fundraiser.
“This main purpose of this fundraiser is to promote breast cancer awareness within our community.” Emily Rantz, PR & Marketing Director for WSW said. “It’s important for the community to know that Women Supporting Women is here to help local people diagnosed with breast cancer. With no national ties or funding, we rely on fundraisers like this to help us continue offering free services and support to anyone affected by breast cancer on Delmarva.”
The bras are elaborately adorned in the theme of various decades and you can vote for your favorite for as little as one dollar. You can find them in front of the old JCPenney in the middle of the mall where you can drop your votes in the box, or you can also view the contestants’ creations and vote online by clicking this link: https://www.firstgiving.com/womensupportingwomen/2016-bras-for-a-cause. Voting is open for the entire month of May and we invite the public to participate by voting for your favorite creation. The awards ceremony for Bras for a Cause will be held in front of the old JCPenney on Thursday, June 2nd at 6pm.
