Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease, but also a manageable and controllable disease, In many circumstances, diabetes can be well controlled by following a healthy diet and exercise regime, The diet should include fiber-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables and whole grains, Junk food should be strictly avoided, Eat four to six small meals/snacks throughout the day, and Exercise for at least one hour each day.
